About Sorella Forte

Sorella Forte – Italian for Strong Sister – is a women's cycling club based in Portland, Oregon.

The club is open to all women who share a passion for riding a bike — ANY bike. We support women who want to race as well as recreational riders looking for others who want to ride on a regular basis. We have several junior members and always welcome more.

We're a large club (70 members and growing), but there is always room for more like-minded cycling junkies who are passionate about riding their bikes.

Links at the top will provide more info about Sorella Forte and our program goals, as well as instructions on becoming a member and joining our mailing list.

Please contact us if you have general questions about the team.

Many thanks to the club's generous sponsors!

Racing...

Colleen cheers on her teammates

If we're not racing, we're cheering. Thanks for running up that hill a dozen times, Colleen!

...and recreation

Fun on a group ride. See, we're not all about racing ;-) more photos.

The bicycle is just as good company as most husbands and, when it gets old and shabby, a woman can dispose of it and get a new one without shocking the entire community.
