Shops
River City Bicycles Hands down one of the best bike shops in the country. We're excited to be one of the lucky teams sponsored by RCB. If you can't find it there, you don't need it ;-) Knowledgeable staff, sweet bikes, oh and free espresso drinks on the weekends. Sheesh, what more do you need? A killer century ride you say? OK, they've got that too! Check this link to the Barlow Century for more info on the best one day ride in Oregon.
Team Sales Cycling A little known secret in the Portland bike community, this importer and distributor of quality cycling apparel from Europe is located in Tualatin. The warehouse has a small showroom which is open to the public Mon-Fri 8:30 - 4pm. Sorella founder Julie B. works there part time. When Julie isn't at TSC, she's busy with her own business, Breakaway Training. See below...
Gorge Performance O.K. this isn't a bike shop, but cycling isn't ALL you do, is it? Why not try something new...like surfing, kiteboarding, snowboarding or windsurfing. Fun does exist beyond bikes.
Trainers/Coaches
Breakaway Training Breakaway Training specializes in coaching cyclists and triathletes, and adopts an integrated and balanced approach to create and maintain a balanced and functional athlete. Julie Browning's credentials are extensive. Check her site and read just a few testimonials to see how a little coaching can go a long way! She's a great resource to have on the Sorella team.
Endurofit Coach Jeb Stewart utilizes an integrated, holistic approach in his "practice" that addresses the physical as well as the internal landscape of the individual to help them identify and overcome their performance limiters and achieve their highest vision for themselves. He specializes in developing custom, effective coaching solutions for a diverse clientele, training with power, strength and conditioning and mental skills training. He's great at identifying success limiters and providing the resources and skills to overcome them. He absolutely loves what he does, and several of us Sorellas have benefted from his coaching and guidance.
